Founded in 1901, the company produces around 22 million net tons of steel annually, as well as delivers quality sheet, tin and tubular products. U.S. Steel serves clients in the appliances, automotive construction and industries, energy, industrial and agricultural machinery industries, etc. The company operates domestic and international facilities including Mon Valley Works, Great Lakes Works, Granite City Works, Gary Works, Fairfield Works and the U. S. Steel Košice in the Slovak Republic.
