Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), often referred to as Petrobras, is a Brazilian company operating in natural gas, energy and oil sectors. They specialise in the exploration, production and marketing of oil products, electricity and natural gas, and other by-products. The company operates in 19 countries and employs over 68,000 people. Petrobras is split into six business units: Exploration and Production, Gas and Power, Biofuels, Distribution, Refining, Transportation, Marketing, and International. Petroleo Brasileiro is listed on a few stock exchanges, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
