The GBP.ls/PLN.ls rate consists of the British pound (often referred to as ‘Cable’ or ‘Sterling’) and the Polish zloty issued by the National Bank of Poland. The pair is considered liquid due to the fact that the British pound is the world’s fourth most traded currency. Poland, in its turn, ranks 6th on the list of the strongest European economies. In 2009, the country managed to achieve the highest GDP growth, leaving behind other members of the European Union.
